Vintage Project

In honor of my grandma, whom I miss so painfully right now...this is her and her mother on a horse, circa 1932 or so...I love you grandma! I can't wait to see you again in heaven someday...

fun mail

This came today! I'm obsessed with ledger papers, so when I saw this, the 8x8 SLICE paper pad by Making Memories, I had to have it.

Oh Beautiful, For Spacious Skies...

The incomparable view from the trail going up Multnomah Falls, which Jesse and I bravely attempted today. We did not succeed in reaching the top of the falls, but we will someday, together!!! I even got stung by a bee in the car on the way and we still managed to conquer most of the trail. (I have n very severe bee-phobia) I forgot my camera at work this weekend, so these are all from my cellphone, I'm rather pleased with the quality, actually.

Jesse forgets to smile quite a bit, stinker! I got him to give his sweet smile though in at least one photo:

When we got home we had dinner and then rented 2 movies from the redbox. What a fantastic day!!!!!!!!!!! I love my man so much!

Today's Monochromatic Project

I started with this.

And ended with this!

A close-up, the quote reads, "Rest in Hope" which is basically having the attitude of resting in God's grace, knowing that you can trust Him completely with hopefulness and contentment.
I got the quote from one of Robin Jones Gunn's books, I can't remember which one it was, either a Sisterchicks or a Glenbrooke one.

Ink/Paint stained hands=a happy Christina!
