Scrap Mojo Challenge

The theme for this challenge was, "Cirque du Soleil & Sequins"!!! Totally fun and right up my alley, as I looooooooooooooooooooove vivid color!!! I took forever on this layout, but something really cool happened while I was working on it-I discovered that I can scrapbook at work! I work at a call center in the evenings and as long as I do all the gathering and prep before I go to work, it is very easy to multi-task talking on the phone while I fiddle with my layout!!! BLISS!!!

What better way to celebrate my 31st birthday then to crop til the break of dawn??? We almost made it...it was mighty cozy in my microscopic apartment, but very fun! Here's Erica, my lovely pregnant friend...

A good time was had by all...my eyes are killing me today though...I'm getting old!!!!!!! I'm feeling inspired by some blogs that I've read today though, over at Scrap Mojo they have a theme of circus/carnival...I think I was already thinking about those colors and that style with this layout...I think I will try and meditate on that for awhile, and take it even further... get those creative juices flowing again...I really need to!!!

Birthday Post

So yesterday I turned 31. One of the lovely families I babysit for gave me this lovely bouquet of flowers. and I scrapbooked until 2 am, finishing up a gift layout for a couple at work that just got married. That was my birthday this year. It was very tranquil and sweet.
