Beauty for Ashes!

I feel like somebody cut off a really huge limb of my body. I talked to DH tonight and he said the same thing. Our hearts are broken and we DO NOT like to be separated. I thought maybe I would try and scrap the journalling that I wrote yesterday morning. I think I am going to try and journal every day that he is gone. Well, by the end of this layout I felt much happier, calmer, more balanced. Art is truly fantastic medicine. I still miss DH, that won't lessen, but at least I can bear it a little more now. This lo is mostly Cosmo Cricket Fleuriste, with some random flowers and a lil noteworthy page!!!

Christina, your relationship will grow stronger while you are separated. Once you are in each others arms again your hearts will be flooded with emotion for one another.

Man! I can't read the journaling cuz I have a laptop screen. But I love your layout, it's beautiful. I'm so glad your art is helping you through a very hard time. Love the CC Flouriste, I just got some in the mail yesterday!

I too know how hard it can be without your husband around for a long time!! Remember it's only a blip in time in your relationship together! And it's true with him gone you will appreciate him even more than you thought you could and you will learn more about yourself too!! I will pray for his safety...Texas is a fine state!:) Thanks for your prayers too!!!

PS-I have a special place in my heart for truckers. My daddy was one when I was little and my really cool brother-in-law John is one now.

Christina,

Beautiful layout. I wish you patience while your dh is gone. It will be hard, but absence makes the heart grow fonder. You two can only get closer! Thinking of you!

I've been there. DH drove over the road for a while when the kids were little. That was really tough. The money was great but money isn't everything. Of course, it REALLY comes in handy for things like eating. LOL Hugs to you. Email me your address. You won twice over at my blog party.

Great lay out! Although not a replacement for your hubby, I'm glad you are making the best of it by scrapping :)
