Last Tuesday night I taught a bead class to some young girls at my old boss’s house, including 2 of my students from last year. (My former boss’s daughters) I was really sick but I ended up just doing the hard part of starting and finishing the necklaces while the girls just beaded. It was pretty satisfying, actually.
Then last night I wanted to be crafty but I really didn’t have any pics to scrap, so I made this necklace that I’ve had in my head for a couple years, inspired by this pic I saw in a beading magazine.
I love the way it turned out!!!
It is very funky, and yet still has my lovely ocean colors!!!

oo.. that came out super cute!~
Oh that is lovely! You'll have to teach me how to do that!
Beautiful, Christina. You are mah-velously talented. Btw, I got your "tag" and I'll have my post up soon. Been in St. Louis for 4 days on a couples retreat.
Blessings,
~Toni~
The colours of your necklace are wonderful! You must be just waiting for the right time to wear it.
You beading evening looks like such fun! Good on ya for doing it even tho' you were feeling so sick.
I hope you are feeling better today?

I like the necklace...I like them big. :)
I love teaching jewelry making - that's why I do it! I've been teaching for two years, and it's so great to see new people get into such a fun craft. I love the necklace - very cool! I haven't beaded in a while. I should whip out my Swarovski's and start going to town!
