Both the school district that I work for and the one that my foster son attends school in have cancelled school for the day. Apparently the snow is more severe in higher elevations, but it is pretty pitiful at our house…of course being the slacker that I am, any excused day off from work is totally welcome!!! Of course you people around the world who get "real" snow are probably laughing at us pitiful Oregonians!!!

If it snows here in GA, which is MAYBE once in a decade, we close down everything..lol We have to take advantage of any "free" days we can get! We totally love it! :)
He is lucky when I was in school we NEVER got snow days.. 50 ft of snow.. nah come onin..

Oh, that's hillarious! We get school closures up here all the time for little sprinkles of snow. It's really kind of pathetic :)
